ABOUT BAMIDELE OSHIGA

I am an experienced financial accountant/expert. I have contributed to impacting business outcomes through effective organization, prioritization and execution of key projects. My strong financial analysis knowledge has enabled me to provide expert advice on a various financial activities. My career cut across various industries such as steel and mining, Logistic and warehousing, Food and beverages and Real estate, my experiences in these industries have helped me to build a wide range of competences and skills, these include: analytical skill, decision making skill, financial analysis skill and organization skill among others. I am an MBA graduate of Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University UK, a top ranked Business School globally.I have over 20 years working experience. I worked at ArcelorMittal projects (2013-June 2023), a world leading steel company, for over 10 years, where I was responsible for the finance unit, providing the financial strategies for the company. I coordinated the preparation of the financial annual budget and the monitoring of the actual result against the budget on a monthly basis. I prepared, examined and analyzed accounting records and financial statements to assess the completeness of the records and the compliance to relevant accounting standards. Through various reports, I advised the management on the financial status of the company. I coordinated the annual statutory audit. I also engaged the Tax Agencies both at the state and federal level on tax matters.
