ABOUT BALLAL SEDDIQUE
I am a GP working in Tower Hamlets with a strong focus on prevention, education, and reducing health inequalities through practical, community-led approaches. My clinical background spans A&E, Paediatrics, Acute Medicine, Frailty, and Intensive Care, giving me a holistic, systems-level perspective on patient care and a deep understanding of how social and economic factors shape health.Alongside my clinical work, I lead innovative programmes at the intersection of lifestyle medicine, education, and community development. I am the Clinical Lead for the Physical Activity Place Based Partnership and the Connect to Work programme in Tower Hamlets, where I help develop neighbourhood-based \'one stop shop’ models that integrate health, employment, and wellbeing support. I focus on engaging underserved groups, including older adults, women, people with learning disabilities, and those living with long-term conditions.I am collaborative and practical in my approach and believe that sustainable health change happens when people are informed, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their wellbeing within trusted and inclusive communities.
