Implementation of Rating Engine for different lines of business on existing policy administration system. The scope includes Eliciting and documenting the requirements, identifying the GAP by comparing current process (As-Is process) and the future process (To-Be process), sharing Estimations, Product configutation including plans and Rating logic, verifying the test scenarios, defect management and bug fixing for smooth SIT/UAT closure.Roles and Responsibilities:1) Analyzing GAP by comparing with the existing system and mapping the business requirements into our product and recommending the solutions that do not fit in to the product.2) Contacting users and different integrating vendors to understand the business needs/problems and recommending solutions that deliver value to the stakeholders.3) Requirement gathering and obtaining approvals for Enhancements/Change Request from underwriters, preparing the object model and implementing the same as part of services with external applications.4) Working with innovative ways to create and adjust the rating artifacts in the minimum possible space.5) Creating test cases to test the rates and formulas.6) Handling Change Requests (CR) as and when raised by the customer.7) Functional testing of the changes implemented.8) Preparing Release notes at the end of the each release.9) Domain training and KT for the other team members.
