Triage incoming referrals for appropriate endoscopy procedures while deciding whether the patient will need moderate sedation or general anesthesia for the specific procedure. Contact patients to gather more information for referral triage. Complete in-basket patient messages. Respond to any code situations or critical patients, performing assessment and appropriate nursing care. Administer injections including routine vaccines as needed and medicating patients prior to HBT testing. Case Management/ Care Coordination for IBD and Hepatology patients.
