My research work focuses on employing mass spectrometry to map the molecular portrait of cancerous tissues using omics based imaging approach. To this end, I employ MALDI and DESI mass spectrometers to image the spatial distribution of molecules (proteins, metabolites and lipids) in tissues and correlate the data with LC-based omics and histopathological images. I have previously worked on structural elucidation of proteins using Mass spectrometry (HDX-MS and IMS) to understand different conformations of proteins.
