I am responsible for the successful management and strategic leadership of the FVREB in accordance to the direction set by the Board of Directors. I assist the Board of Directors in the development and articulation of FVREB\'s Mission, Vision andStrategy, and in the development of FVREB policies and goals that cover operations, human resources, financial performance and growth to pursue and implement that strategy.Prioritizing resources into annual operating plans that achieve strategic results and providesupport and leadership to the management team is a priority of mine. I report progress and issues to the Board of Directors and act as a trusted professional advisor to the Board on all aspects of FVREB’s activities and effective Board governance.I ensure a strong governance structure and culture exists based upon the highest ethicalstandards throughout all leadership roles and promote informed decision-making processes.In conjunction with the Board, I formulate, facilitate and co-ordinate the development andpreparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon FVREB goals andobjectives.I develop and establish operating policies consistent with the Board of Directors\' broad objectivesand mandate and ensure their adequate execution.In short, I ensure that the operations and services delivered by FVREB meet the expectations of members and are being delivered cost effectively and efficiently.

In my past role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Vice President of Human Resources and Office Services at the Certified General Accountants’ Association of Canada, I drove initiatives that led revenues and employee engagement to new heights. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BC Branch of the Actra Performers Guild, I successfully lobbied the government to improve film tax credits for film production, effectively protecting member employment opportunities.
