ABOUT BALÁZS FEKETE

My experience focuses on mechanics, especially structural analyses, fatigue, and materials. I’m well-versed in modeling, post-process reporting, project execution, experiments & validation, and process improvement. In my current position at Blue Origin, I\'m working on the MK-2 Lunar Lander Thrusters as the Lead Structural Analyst. At the NASA Kennedy Space Center I\'ve worked on the Space Launch System (SLS) Ground Systems as a Sr. Mechanical Finite Element Analysis Engineer. During my postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley I successfully developed analysis models and computer programs for stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of Light Water Nuclear Reactors as well as SCC models for aerospace Al alloys. My skill set is best utilized in solving engineering problems that require strong analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge in the fields of mechanics and materials science. My areas of expertise:++ Finite element modeling [structural, thermal, fatigue, vibrations].++ Fatigue [LCF, HCF, TMF, microstructural aspects].++ Fracture Mechanics [fatigue crack growth]++ Thermomechanics [modeling and experimental measurements].++ Stress corrosion cracking and corrosion fatigue [modeling].My software skills:ANSYS | NX / NASTRAN | NASGRO | C | Fortran | MATLAB | COMSOL | OriginLaB Pro | Solidworks- I\'m a US citizen-
