ABOUT BALA SUBRAMANYAM SIVARATHRI

I am a Ph.D. Candidate (Graduate Research Assistant) at Mississippi State University focused on advancing sustainable agriculture through plant physiology and stress resilience research. My work centers on understanding how biostimulants and management strategies can improve soybean performance under environmental stresses, particularly low-temperature conditions that limit crop productivity. My research integrates plant physiology, crop management, and data-driven analysis to identify solutions that enhance crop resilience and productivity in changing climates. I have experience designing controlled-environment and field experiments, analyzing complex datasets, and translating scientific findings into insights that support both scientific advancement and practical agricultural applications. In addition to my research, I actively contribute to academic leadership and community engagement. I currently serve as the Chair of the Graduate Student Committee and previously served as the Secretary of the Graduate Student Association, where I helped organize conference meetings, research symposiums, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and support professional development opportunities for graduate students. My work has been recognized through several honors, including the Gamma Sigma Delta International Graduate Scholarship, Gerald O. Mott Meritorious Graduate Student Award (Crop Science Society of America) and multiple research presentation awards at national and regional scientific meetings.I am particularly interested in collaborating on projects related to plant stress physiology, crop improvement, biostimulants, sustainable crop production, and climate-resilient agriculture. I am also open to opportunities involving research collaboration, scientific reviewing, and knowledge exchange within the global plant science community.Let\'s talk about: Plant Stress Physiology | Biostimulants | Soybean Production | Crop Resilience | Sustainable Agriculture | Climate-Smart Farming
