   Build, correlate, and maintain occupant safety CAE models to meet regulatory standards (FMVSS) and consumer test modes (USNCAP and IIHS) at component, system, and full vehicle levels- Collaborate closely with Structure, Seating, Interior, Restraint, Electrical Safety, and Sensor teams to drive safety improvements, implement countermeasures, and ensure compliance with internal targets and regulatory requirements- Integrate models from ATD suppliers, structures, restraints, and interior design groups to create full vehicle virtual analysis, ensuring models are organized, robust, and optimized for efficient setup and run times- Perform detailed post-crash CAE, sled, and full vehicle test analyses, correlating CAE simulations with physical test results, and develop automation scripts in Python/C++ to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks- Work with Structures, Design Release Engineers (DREs), and cross-functional teams to ensure design recommendations are reflected in CAD. Collaborate with Testing teams to develop and support subsystem-level and full vehicle crash tests- Coordinate with CAE model suppliers (Satven, ZF, Humanetics) and CAE tool suppliers (LSDyna, BETA CAE, Primer) to apply industry-standard best practices- Provide in-depth feedback to Structures, Restraints, and Interior teams on the impact of their designs on occupant performance in FMVSS 208, USNCAP, and IIHS tests, with recommendations for enhancements- Develop and implement advanced finite element (FE) methodologies and crash safety analysis techniques to support innovation in design- Validate the behavior of sub-component models within the CAE system to ensure simulation accuracy and reliability- Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) studies to balance performance targets.
