Balaji has over 15 years of experience in Financial Services. He has worked on various projects on Financial & Operational risk assessments and reviews, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Risk & Regulatory Data testing.In his current role, Balaji leads a group within Data Management and Insights team. His team is responsible to regulatory data validations, Risk and Control assessments across various key regulatory reports. Prior to this he led Report Deconstruction team to deliver key data analytics pertaining to high risk data elements within various risk and regulatory reports along with building source to target metadata lineage. This is a part of BCBS 239 (Effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting) enterprise-wide initiative at Wells Fargo. He is also responsible for various Regulatory Data testing initiatives covering System of Origin / Records, Aggregation layers as well as submission layers of the data life cycle. He worked closely with various Business teams on control validation exercises.Prior to that, Balaji has worked as a Risk Controller in CCAR regulatory reporting project and on Financial and Operational risk assessments at JP Morgan and PwC respectively
