   Deal, Pre Close:• Participate in the deal team of an M&A project with respect to the integration part of the project as the Post Merger Integration expert.• Ensure the granular planning and execution of the value creation work streams• Ensure the support of key business functions to aid with integration strategy as requiredMerger and / or Acquisition, Post Close:• Partner with the Business Integration Manager to lead the integration process and leverage the Philips organization• Partner with and coach the Business Integration Manager in the NVI methodology used to setup and lead the integration project team defining value creation workstreams for the commercial and operational activities.• Phase in functional workstreams like IT, SCM, HR, F&A, M&A, Communications, etc, to maximize value creation.• Monitor business and financial performance, and take corrective actions to ensure overall business and financial performance targets are met by the applicable business during the integration process• Responsible for the after care of the acquired business and identification of additional value creation opportunities.• Drive continuous improvement; lead the activities aimed at delivering continuous improvement across the projects• Plans, implements and controls post merger integration work. Supports, participates and takes guidance from NVI competence center.• Ensures the support of key business functions to aid with integration strategy as required• Develops Integration Workstream charters (scope, deliverables, resources, actions). Identifies & informs issues; takes corrective actions where needed• Enables measurement & reporting of synergy benefits and integration KPIs. Reports to Business Integration Leader on project status, progress, risks, issues, blockages and dependencies.• In pre-close phase, supports M&A and business team during due diligence process and preparation of the business case (RFA) with definition of the integration strategy and budget.
