About Balachandran Krishnamurthi
I started my career in the maritime industry in 2010 and have more than 14 years of experience in port operations and terminal development. As part of my rotation in PSA, I have also led the transformation to automation and did many proof of concept trials on various manual processes along the flow of containers from the gate to vessel. I have recently completed a 3 year stint in PSA Sines, Portugal as the Head of Business Excellence on 31 March 2025 and am embarking on a new stint as the GM of PSA Chennai, India from 01 April 2025.Personally I am an outgoing individual who likes to mentor and teach staff to develop their holistic capabilities. I love to take on new challenges and dip my feet in areas that I’m not used to, in order to gain exposure and broader perspectives for myself
