Senior Stress Engineer with over 20 years of experience in aerospace industry having extensive experience in the stress analysis of aircraft structures in accordance with CS25 Regulations.Extensive experience across aircraft wing structures covering concept, design, development and certification and in-service continued airworthiness.Worked across major aircraft programmes – Airbus A350, A320 series (ceo and neo), A330 (ceo and neo), A340, A380 and Boeing B787, B747.Worked with global OEMs - Airbus, GE, Collins/Goodrich and RSPs and Engineering Solutions providers.• Held Design Organisation Stress Approval and Stress Authorisation (Metallic) Signatory on Single Aisle, Long Range (A330/A340) and A350 aircraft wing. Approved, authorised stress analysis and documentation to the highest quality standards to time, cost and quality.• Led internal teams, transnational teams and supplier teams in delivering high quality stress analysis and documentation in support of Main Gate reviews, Certification, SRM, in-service fleet support activities. Presented in Gate reviews (PDRs, CDRs) and technical review meetings.• Collaborated with internal and external stake holders (chief engineering, stress authority, airworthiness, customer support, loads, design, fatigue, interface component teams, manufacturing, assembly, RSPs, sub-contract companies) in global, cross functional and challenging environment.• Extensive experience in compiling, checking stress analysis and documentation in support of incremental development aircraft from concept to certification and in-service aircraft repairs (Major and Minor) to the highest quality standards.• Extensive experience in static and fatigue & damage tolerance analysis of metallics and composites (both primary and secondary structures) using classical methods (including Mathcad), Airbus Toolsets (ISAMI), Finite element methods (MSC Nastran, MSC Patran, and HyperView).• Familiar with aircraft analysis methods/tools/processes/policies/regulations.• Knowledge of aerospace design & manufacturing processes.• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.• Experience in project management - scoping, statements of work preparation, project planning, scheduling, delegation, allocation, progress review and delivery to the time, cost and quality. PRINCE2 certified.• Experience in training, guiding and mentoring new and less experienced team members.• Flexible, adapts to business needs, collaborates with stakeholders at all levels.
