POSITION SUMMARY• To support sourcing projects in Project Centres for ASEAN- Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines.• To perform all procurement activities including but not limited to tender invitation consisting of vendor’s commercial and technical qualifications, evaluation of tenders, negotiation, award of contract, post-award administration to expediting of equipment delivery, documentation, final close-up, and warranty claims.• Create and execute category strategies.• Execute sourcing process, i.e. understand purchase requirements, conduct market research, request for quotation/proposal.• Involve in negotiation with vendors regarding prices, delivery and quantity / contract requirement, as well as site service support.• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms and conditions.• Drive performance improvements focusing on quality, cost, and lead time.• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management relationships, communicate results and act as a proactive Business Partner.• Communicate and Manage relationship with management stakeholders. • Advocate continuous improvement on all aspects of sourcing and procurement process to enhance services.• Execute strategic sourcing events like e-auctions, CVE (Cost value Engineering) and should costing for competitive pricing.• To revamp the supplier payment terms for improving the cash flow of organization.• Constantly perform supplier qualification, evaluation/selection & relationship management• Perform market research to understand market trends that lead to strategic purchasing.• Perform historical data collection and spend analysis to reduce risk and practise best possible total cost of ownership.
