About Bakhtiyor Butabekov

I’m Bakhtiyor, but people also call me Ben. I’ve worked where money is approved, where it is earned, and now where it is studied, from banking in Tajikistan to a 33K ecommerce venture to Finance at the University of Cincinnati.I’m drawn to financial planning because it sits at the intersection of numbers and people. I enjoy translating cash flow, investments, risk, and long term goals into clear plans people can actually follow. I care about precision, but I care just as much about trust, communication, and accountability.I’m seeking a financial planning or wealth management internship where I can support advisors with analysis, client preparation, and relationship building while continuing to develop strong fundamentals in investments, retirement planning, and portfolio construction.

Help translate coursework, campus involvement, and work experience into clear resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and assist with interview preparation and application strategy. Contribute to large scale career programming, including the Career Expo, supporting event flow and live coverage that helped drive record turnout with 276 students checked in, 267 pre registered, and 38 companies represented. Maintain accurate records and support daily Career Services operations in close coordination with professional staff.
