In 2005, I met with the very first company about their payroll. I’ve been helping organizations with their payroll and HR systems since. After spending 1 year in a different industry(cloud storage), I quickly realized how much I enjoy working with HR, Payroll, Accounting and Finance folks. For me to come back though, I wanted to work with a company where clients loved the product. I was tired of being the sales guy that had to hide from the customer after the sale. Paylocity builds its own software for payroll and HR and reinvests 10-15% of revenues back to make it the the most flexible and forward thinking, award winning platform for mid size companies employees).
