As a data science leader, I steer transformative business changes by drawing on my analytical background and ability to develop tailor-fit and value-adding machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to enterprise problems. My approach is simple: I identify and remedy business performance gaps by leveraging advanced analytics. For instance, at Deloitte Advisory, I evaluated and validated a $200B operations risk model for a high-value banking client by assessing model accuracy, robustness, stability, and limitations. As a result, I prevented a $30M monetary loss as well as regulatory non-compliance risk. Additionally, I enabled strategic investment decision-making for another global banking client by leading the development of a Probability of Default (PD) model. A key to my success is pioneering continuous business optimization. At Genpact LLC, for example, I transformed the reporting framework for a multibillion-dollar client by generating data gathering forms and automating info extraction and report generation, driving a multifold increase in reporting efficiency. We also sold the software solution as a standardized package to other leading clients. I challenge and work towards improving the status quo by promoting talent development and employing creative solution building. For instance, at Deloitte Advisory, I improved analytics efficiency by trailblazing the department-wide transition to a Python and MySQL-based utility. I expedited the portfolio evaluation process by 96%, enabling teams to target high-value portfolios and generate a 3x revenue increase. As a result of my efforts, I won an Innovation Award. Moreover, based on my automation track record, I was handpicked to develop the framework for an AI center of excellence.I believe in leading disruptive transformations through strategic data analytics and planning.
