About Baiyu Huang

As a software engineer with a master\'s degree in computer science from the University of Southern California, I have a passion for developing innovative solutions for automation and simulation. I have a strong background in machine learning, AI, and robotics, and I have applied my skills to various projects in the industry and research.Most recently, I worked as a software engineer/simulation at Parallel Domain, where I engineered scenario generation for simulated vehicles, designed a LQR-based lateral and longitudinal controller for vehicle simulation, and modeled various sensors and dynamics for Airsim. I contributed to improving the realism, accuracy, and performance of the simulation environment, enabling the testing and validation of autonomous systems. Previously, I worked as a robotics software engineer at Volansi, where I implemented landing zone validation, PX4 communication, and vehicle behavior for drone delivery. I also worked as a software development engineer at AWS, where I developed a scalable backend system and a front-end interface for external monitoring of host machines.
