ABOUT BAISHALI BHATTACHARJEE

I am a legal professional with experience in Intellectual Property (IP) and Corporate law, currently working as an Executive – Legal at KSB LIMITED. My work involves managing trademarks, assisting in IP and civil litigations, drafting and vetting contracts like NDAs, service level agreements, and software development agreements. I’ve also led initiatives such as digitizing legal records and implementing e-stamping services to streamline the execution of contracts. During my internships, I gained experience in legal research through platforms like Manupatra and SCC Online. I also authored articles on diverse topics, which honed my writing skills. These roles taught me how to approach legal challenges with a practical mindset and a focus on detail, skills that I believe are key for this position. Outside my professional life, I am passionate about musical instruments and have been playing the violin for many years. I had also been an active member of an NGO working for LGBTQIA+ people in Northeast India, where I contributed to initiatives that raised awareness and supported the community. I want to build my career in Corporate and IP Law, working with organizations to help protect their brand identity and goodwill. My constant efforts are to help brands grow and provide them with legal support to protect their creativity and innovation.
