Test Operations Engineering Intern
NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration
Jan 2025 — Present · Houston, TX, US
Aided in conducting test operations for vacuum chamber efficiency, space suit components, and commercial customers. I\'ve supported human-in-the-loop testing by collaborating with the Softgoods Lab and exploration atmosphere crew to evaluate a new HLS garment, assessing design limitations, benefits, and contributing to their implementation in Exploration Atmosphere (ExATM)#6. Additionally, I re-designed heater cage reflectors to improve chamber cooldown by enabling incremental opening, preventing sharp temperature changes during helium cooling transition.Led the procurement, build, and testing of the prototype reflector mechanism in JSC’s Vacuum Chamber E, collaborating with test requesters, test directors, and building technicians.
