ABOUT BAILEY GRAVES

I am a recent graduate from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Social Work (BSW). I hope to use the skills and education I have gained over the past 3 1/2 years to create positive and lasting change in the lives of others and advance social and economic justice initiatives. My professional goal is to generate macro-level change through work in policy and administration. Through my time as a BSW student, I have come believe that it is incredibly hard to meet the needs of clients at the micro level, due to the ineffective and oppressive policies at the systems level. I believe that Individual cases are microcosms of larger systemic issues, and without policy level changes it is incredibly difficult for agencies and communities to develop comprehensive solutions to social problems. My next steps are to pursue a Masters Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on policy and administration and take every opportunity I can to gain experience that will allow me to develop professionally along the way. I bring an energetic, driven and focused personality to the work environment, and am currently searching for a full-time or part-time social work position. Let\'s connect!
