Staff Management: Management of day-to-day operation, maintenance, and administration of Minnie Howard’s aquatic facilities, including the hiring, training, certification, and supervision of four full-time head lifeguards, plus approximately 20 seasonal pool operators, lifeguards, water safety instructors, and receptionists- Program Management: Development and implementation of various seasonal aquatics programs, including learn to swim classes, water aerobics, and lifeguard certification classes. Ensure that program objectives are met, equitable access is considered, and exceptional customer experiences are provided- Budget Management: Projection and oversight for an operating budget of approximately $1.1 million, including personnel expenses, non-personnel expenses, and revenue. Serve as the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative for capital improvement project projections and budgeting- Facility Management: Creation of safe working conditions for aquatics staff, and safe recreational facilities for customers, by providing ongoing staff training and audits and by performing equipment maintenance and proper chemical handling in accordance with local health codes and national training standards.
