ABOUT BAILEY SAVAGE

Bailey Savage is a passionate leader with a love for solving difficult problems!As a woman leader in large-scale events management, she utilizes her creativity and technical expertise to support transportation planning for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Bailey began her professional journey at SpaceX, first as a Launch Engineer then as a Supervisor of the West Coast Recovery Team. Her four year aerospace career gave her the opportunity to develop project management skills, build powerful teams, and manage a program through a period of exponential growth. Bailey thrives being at the cutting edge of technical pursuits and has relied heavily on her engineering studies to navigate technical leadership roles. She earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with minors in entrepreneurship and design. In addition to her technical prowess, she maintains high levels of drive and adaptability that are largely attributed to numerous years of competitive athletics. She has participated in a variety of sports at the highest level, most notably: softball, skiing, rock climbing, pole vaulting, flag football, and last but certainly not least, basketball which she played at the collegiate level. During her professional career Bailey has frequently sought opportunities to empower women and LGBTQ+ individuals in tech spaces! She helped develop and oversee several SpaceX employee groups in this area while routinely engaging with college students and other industry leaders.Bailey\'s love of learning propels her to continue seeking new opportunities to develop her leadership and project management skills while making a positive impact on those around her!
