Experience
Curator of Collections, Catalogue Raisonné Research and Project Manager
Jan 2023 — Present
This role is primarily dedicated to the planning, organization, and management of the first complete catalogue raisonné (CR) of Clyfford Still’s works. This major, multi-year endeavor requires day-to-day oversight of object research for works both within and beyond CSM’s collection, logistical project management, strategic planning, and communication with internal stakeholders and other external museum professionals, scholars, collectors, dealers, and auction houses. It includes continued cataloging, photography management, and research of CSM\'s entire collection (roughly 93% of everything Still created) after completion of the initial inventory of Still\'s paintings (2018) and works on paper (2012).This role also acts as primary curator at the institution with over 9 years of curatorial experience (14 curated special exhibitions, over 15 curated collection highlights installations, and coordination for over 30 exhibitions at CSM). Curatorial duties include advancing visibility and interest in Clyfford Still and the collection by developing ongoing innovative in-house exhibitions, publications, and interpretive strategies. As one of three CSM interpretation team members, this role is also keenly focused on fostering scholarly collaboration across disciplines to encourage new approaches to the research and interpretation of Clyfford Still’s art. Curated exhibitions as Curator of Collections (non-collection highlights rotations)-\"Still in Sound,\" May 15, 2026–January 2027 -\"Tell Clyfford I Said \"Hi\": An Exhibition Curated by Children of the Colville Confederated Tribes,\" September 19, 2025–May 10, 2026-\"Spotlight: Inside Collections Care and Conservation,\" September 15, 2023–May 5, 2024-\"Awful Bigness,\" Clyfford Still Museum, February 17–September 10, 2023
