Information is my medium. The intense desire to know what’s was going on in the world around me led to a career in journalism, where I was constantly seeking and analyzing new information. In my role as a producer, I was on the frontlines of creating the news programs that appear on your living room every morning. I sifted through wires, press releases, story databases and spot news to figure out what viewers needed to know then found video and graphics to create an appealing final product. My need for information only grew as my professional experience increased and I began learning how my skills could evolve in the field of public relations. To me, public relations is all about gathering information and synthesizing it into a distinct package – whether that be a content marketing strategy, media pitch or branding.
