About Bailey Borman
Bailey Borman, PhD, is the Director of Service Learning and Community Engagement at Arizona State University’s Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Public Affairs. Her work centers on leveraging higher education as a community asset that strengthens regional capacity and expands access to applied learning.In her role, Dr. Borman leads institutional initiatives that connect students, faculty, and community partners through research, experiential learning, and workforce development. She directs the Piper Servant Leader Network, a university-wide service-learning program funded by the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, which provides scholarships and hands-on learning opportunities for students while increasing nonprofit capacity across Maricopa County. Her recent projects include community-engaged research with St. Vincent de Paul and leadership of an Apple Community Education Initiative grant designed to integrate technology, civic learning, and public service.
