About Baher Haroun
Baher S’86-M’90-SM’06, Fellow\'09) received B.Sc. 1981, M.Sc. 1984 in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt, and Ph.D. 1989 from Electrical and Computer Engineering Dept, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. From 1989 to 1995, he was an Assistant, then Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He joined Texas Instruments in 1995. He is an elected Texas Instruments Senior Fellow, and Director SIgnal Path in TI Kilby Labs. Prior to his current role, he has led and directed multiple world wide teams for Advanced Technology and Innovation at TI Embedded Processing Labs, Kilby Labs and Analog and RF WW IP R&D in the Wireless Business Unit of Texas Instruments. He has more than 150 papers and patents to his credit and his research interests include low power and low voltage RF mmWaves, Radar and THz systems, mixed signal paths for optical, magnetic and ultrasonic circuits, architectures and systems and precision clocks and time metrology circuits.
