About Baha Tanju

Baha Tanju earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, along with a Master of Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in Management of Information Systems. During his time at Texas Tech University, he served as a Research Assistant and contributed to the development of Computer Vision Algorithms. These algorithms were utilized for projects involving visibility quantification and target detection, in collaboration with government agencies.He made significant contributions to the development of drilling and production control systems in the industry. As a subsea control systems engineer, he worked with various major energy companies. In 2006, he joined Chevron, where he conducted technical feasibility studies and qualification programs for major capital projects. Additionally, he managed subsea Deepwater Strategic Research and Technical Development programs. At Chevron Technical Center (CTC)- Facilities Design and Solutions (FDS), he is presently at the forefront of leading the Digitalization endeavor for Subsea, Civil, and Marine Engineering (SCME).
