I often look back at what my high school teacher once told me “I am not any smarter than you, I’ve just read more books.” The advice I received that day established a belief in me that people are not just gifted intelligence or naturally smart; instead, it is earned through hard work, time and a few books. This moment started my lifelong journey for knowledge and new challenges. I never think “oh that is too hard, or they are smarter than me!” Instead, I step back, think and research how I can overcome the obstacles before me.
