Data Scientist with the Department of Education\'s Human Capital Strategy Division (HCSD), specializing in aligning strategic human capital initiatives with the agency\'s mission, goals, and objectives. This role supports informed HR decision-making and drives effective workforce planning and management across the enterprise, while overseeing the administration and management of integrated HR systems to ensure the integrity of HR data and databases.As the lead Data Scientist on the HR Analytics team, responsibilities include developing and maintaining strategic frameworks for workforce planning, analysis, and implementation. Department-wide and component-level workforce analysis products are delivered, along with oversight of workforce data governance and consultation on organizational structure and delegations of authority.Additional duties include facilitating user-defined queries and providing support, training, and guidance to enable stakeholders to access and utilize self-service HR reports. Serving as system owner and administrator for Department HR IT systems, this role also acts as liaison for shared service provider systems such as FPPS, Datamart, WTTS/EODS, and others.A strong focus is placed on data integrity and security, ensuring the application of information assurance practices, while collaborating with HR staff to address and resolve data discrepancies.
