About Badhrie Sridhar

I am an Industrial Engineering student at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), expected to graduate in 2024 with a bachelor\'s degree and two SAP certifications in sales and procurement. I am passionate about solving real-world problems, improving operational efficiency, and delivering value to customers and stakeholders. Currently, I work as a logistics continuous improvement co-op at GE Appliances, a Haier company, where I lead and manage various projects to optimize inventory, packaging, and customer data processes. I use Oracle to alleviate inventory issues at distribution centers, resulting in a direct project benefit exceeding $70k with a goal of $500k by the end of my co-op. I also work with design and quality teams to implement new packing changes, and collaborate with IT team to automate the aggregation of weekly customer data. In addition to my co-op role, I volunteer as an industrial engineering intern at Wieland Group, where I consult with the company to design and build simulations for an efficient repackaging line, using AutoCAD software and senior design project requirements. Furthermore, I serve as a mentor for the CS+MIE Engineering Success Program at UIC, where I facilitate the ENGR 100 course, grade assignments, create lecture slides, and hold office hours. I enjoy working with new students and helping them succeed in college and beyond. I am eager to join an organization that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and where I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. I have strong skills in SAP, Oracle, AutoCAD, and lean manufacturing, and I am always willing to learn new tools and techniques to enhance my performance and impact. I am motivated by challenging and meaningful work that contributes to the goals and vision of the organization and its customers.
