ABOUT BADARIAH YOSIYANA
Ms. Yosiyana joined the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) as Partnerships Manager in September 2024. In this role, she oversees the CEM Secretariat\'s support to Member Countries, Workstream leads, and participants. She actively fosters collaboration and interaction among these stakeholders and external partners. She works closely with policymakers to develop comprehensive analyses, strategies, and policies that support the transition to a clean energy future.Prior to CEM, she worked at International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) for 6.5 years, and her last position was Regional Programme Officer, Asia Pacific under Country Engagement and Partnerships division. She managed the Agency\'s work on supporting Asia Pacific region in the development and implementation of national and regional renewable energy strategies and programmes through IRENA\'s regional initiatives.Prior to joining IRENA, she worked for the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) for four years and her last role was as the Project Manager for the ASEAN-German Energy Programme (AGEP), a joint cooperation programme with GIZ with the objective to improve regional cooperation in RE and EE & C field in ASEAN region. Her work includes study on Levelized Cost of Electricity for RE technologies (LCOE) in ASEAN; ASEAN RE Policies Publication; and ASEAN RE Outlook.Prior to ACE, Ms. Yosiyana worked with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on the climate change project in Indonesia where she contributed in developing the National and Regional Action Plan on GHG Emission Reduction (RAN-GRK).She completed her Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia), and Master degree in Environmental Engineering from National Cheng Kung University (Tainan, Taiwan).Her interests are among others RE and EE & C, climate change, sustainable development and climate financing.
