Working as an online tutor for the Bachelor of Computer Science Degree from Goldsmiths, University of London on the Coursera platform. This is the first undergraduate degree programme available on Coursera, one of the world’s leading online education providers.The programme has been designed to equip students to access careers in emerging technologies, providing opportunities for students to study machine learning, data science, virtual reality, game development and web programming to meet the needs of career changers in industry as well as those taking their first steps into the innovative computer science field.

ABOUT PEDRAM BADAKHCHANI
I am responsible for the development and maintenance of the Centre’s eLearning resources. Through a combination of project work and the delivery of day-to-day services, I ensure that the Centre maintains and advances its digital learning environment and fulfils the Centre’s goals in both teaching and learning. I take an innovative approach to identifying and advising Language Centre staff on new technologies to support language learning and teaching.As a member of the Language Centre’s Senior Staff team, I provide expert advice to enhance teaching, learning and assessment through the utilisation of learning technologies and other online solutions for group working and interactive learning. I also contribute to the strategic development of the Centre as a whole. I actively engage in the promotion and development of the Language Centre and its teaching and learning functions across the Collegiate University. I also engage in wider networks of eLearning and ICT professionals delivering the University’s digital education goals-Recently to support language learning the Language Centre is making a range of its language learning resources available as open courseware under the Creative Commons Licence. Most of these resources were initially developed for the language courses run as part of the Cambridge University Language Programme (CULP). The materials were designed for use in a blended learning environment combining ICT-based learning with face-to-face learning in the classroom. The resources can be used for self-study but for their most effective use they will benefit from a learning environment with some face-to-face contact.
