Babu Ram Bhandari has been working with INDUS as Assistant Manager – Administration for +26 years. He has excellent understanding and hands-on experience in office administration and support including database maintenance, library management, record maintenance, and logistics arrangements. He has completed his Matriculation from Uttar Pradesh and further pursued a six months Diploma in Electrical House-wiring Course from Community Education & Development Foundation (Rotary Vocational Training Center, New Delhi). Besides the total admin management in the INDUS New Delhi office, Babu Ram also co-ordinates with the INDUS Chennai Office, in relation to the admin matters there. He is also responsible for Business Development related activities; with this perspective, one of his responsibilities includes thorough reading of the newspapers with a focus on identification and segregation of business related news in the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Social domain. He maintains a database of such news, which becomes an invaluable source of information for INDUS team. He is also responsible for the handling of Soil and Groundwater Samples, Submission of Tender/Bids, Dispatching of Official Reports, etc. He takes care of the complete logistics, and has developed a network with courier and transport services. He is also responsible for travel and hotel bookings, bank dealings, payment of bills, arrangements for seminars/ workshops/ trainings etc.Babu Ram has gained insight into an assortment of environmental issues while working with many multinational environmental consultancy companies and is fairly familiar with relevant environmental glossary. He has completed an 8-day training course on First-aid in compliance with the requirements of the Red Cross Society, India. He has recently been trained on \"Managing Information in the Digital Age“ at Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi.
