Participate in collaborative design sessions with multi-disciplinary teams including electrical engineers, process engineers, manufacturing engineers and project managers to meet performance, safety, and compliance requirements for electrolyzer and fuel cell test stations• Design structural frames, pressure vessels, high-pressure/low-pressure piping, process equipment lay-out, electrical enclosures, weldments and sheet metals using SolidWorks in accordance with ASME Y14.5• Interpret P & ID to develop optimal equipment and instrument lay-out, routing, and process line connections• Create large-scale assembly drawings optimized for manufacturability, safe shipping, and on-site serviceability for customers• Prepare precise fabrication drawings for structural frames, pressure vessels, and sheet metal components, incorporating GD & T standards for vendor manufacturing• Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation phases by delivering clear, build-ready documentation and assisting with on-site or shop floor troubleshooting when needed• Liaise with vendors to RFQ materials needed for project, obtain technical documentation in relation with mechanical design• Utilize ERP software (SAP) to manage and update project BOMs, monitor inventory and lead times, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of materials aligned with project and production schedules• Coordinate and perform design reviews with focus on manufacturability, supply chain capabilities, quality assurance and product application• Assist in identifying and addressing project challenges, ensuring alignment with timelines and client expectations• Identify and address discrepancies in BOMs to minimize delays and errors during production• Assist in training junior team members in best practices for 3D SolidWorks
