About Babajide Sadiq

My name is Babajide Sadiq. I am a public health practitioner with over a decade of academic (teaching and research) and non-academic experience in various areas of public health. I have a Bachelor\'s degree in Human Anatomy, a Master\'s of Public Health degree and a Doctor of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. I am a highly motivated, results-oriented professional who have demonstrated an outstanding analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills in various areas of public health which includes environmental health, chronic and infectious disease, healthcare management and policy, International/Global Health, Millennium Development Goals (MDG), data management and analysis (qualitative and quantitative analyses i.e regression, Poisson, time series forecasting, survival, multivariate, analysis of variance and covariance)\\, project management, and public health consulting. Some of my career achievements are:Coordinated the overall activities of the Adult Lead Epidemiology and Surveillance program for Florida.Coordinated and concluded a study to determine if self-selected data can be used to represent random data for radon risk in Leon County, Florida. Managed and analyzed over ten million Maternal and Child Health database a year for Florida Department of Health.Developed a Health Disparities Profiles for TexasDeveloped a data analytic model for sustainable development goal for health. Authored, coauthored and contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and presented in various public health topics in areas of environmental, chronic and infectious diseases, global health.My personal mission statement is:To be one of the world\'s renowned and successful public health professional through hard work, determination, consistency, focus, gaining experience, searching for new and improving on my already acquired knowledge and skills, and taking pride in what I do.
