ABOUT BABAFELA AWOSILE

A scholarly epidemiologist with a demonstrated research background in Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine. My research interest is Antimicrobial Resistance Epidemiology, especially beta-lactamase resistance genes. My career focus is to use epidemiological tools in understanding antimicrobial resistance and applying multifaceted mitigation strategies, including stewardship, to reduce the occurrences at all stakeholders\' levels. I have rich academic training cutting across Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Public Health, Preventive Medicine, One Health, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics from Nigeria and Canada.
