   I am responsible for leading R&D and production engineering efforts for core 3D reconstruction technologies and pipelines that leverages a consumer grade capture UX to collect photo/video/sensor data and creates highly accurate 3D models of homes at continental scale. I manage and support an engineering division that is composed of teams of various talents and core 3D competencies in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Computer Graphics, and 3D geometry, with applications in AR/VR, robotics, mapping, SLAM, and mobile. In this role I am focused on- long term direction for research and production efforts - discovering new product opportunities, take product from R&D to commercialization, and managing product discovery and delivery - scaling team and technology in 0-1 product - high level strategy and roadmap for product and technology advancement - progress/status/plan reporting for executive team members - staff allocation and R&D budget planning - org structure design and alignment - continuously improving team/program/project management processes
