About B Dahlia
B Dahlia has worked in film, music, and event production in the Seattle community for over two decades. Recently, with the collapse of live events and institutional equipment needs, Mr. Dahlia left the team at Seattle-based PNTA, where he had overseen the company’s rental unit for four years. PNTA is the long-established leader in the Northwest in sales and rentals of theatrical lighting, audio, video, EFX and staging, custom system, drapery production, and event services. Over the last decade, Mr. Dahlia also has operated B Dahlia Presents, an agency dedicated to assisting developing and established artists with booking, promotion and production support. He currently represents and promotes Seattle’s funk sensation The Pulsations and has driven promotion of their successful monthly show - West Seattle Soul - at West Seattle’s Parliament Tavern. He also works with Northwest composer Amy Denio, breakout Italian sextet OU, New York-based Jessica Lurie and Living Daylights, The Tiptons Sax Quartet w/Drums, jazz-folk sensation Madeline Tasquin, bassist Rene Hart, Jewish Afrobeat-meets-Carlebach sensation Zion80 and others. A versatile producer as well as promoter, he wears many hats in the field and in the production office. In 2013, he was Music Supervisor on the Seattle hip hop documentary \"The Otherside” (featuring Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Sir Mixalot, Common Market, Jake One and ), and an Associate Producer and Audio Technician on the Initiative-502 documentary \"Evergreen: The Road To Legalization In Washington State.\" Mr. Dahlia established a reputation for quality work as Production Manager and Co-Producer of Paradigm Studio’s critically acclaimed feature film and four‐part series \"Icons Among Us®: jazz in the present tense.\" In 2013 he directed the design and implementation of the \"Icons Among Us: Living Archive\" project - an online portal that delves into the depths of interviews and performances filmed in the making of the documentary. Mr. Dahlia is also a professional stagehand, and has worked load in, show call, and load out for talent ranging from Rammstein to Sissy Spacek to Sir Paul McCartney.
