Problem solver by day, astrophysicist by night*Hi there! My name is Azzam Bin Aamir. I was born in Pakistan, spent most of my life in Saudi Arabia, and moved to Canada to pursue my studies and my dreams! In the process, I fell in love with the ‘Data World’. Through experiences in hackathons, academic research, as well as working with multiple Fortune 500 companies, I’ve been lucky enough to advance my technical prowess to a level I am proud of, and one I work to further everyday.I’m always looking for ways to combine my background in physics with the almost magical powers of Machine Learning, which is a major aspect of my research work (feel free to ask me about it, nerds love talking about their work).In my personal life, I’m a cat dad, a major book worm, and absolutely love football ( not ). I also enjoy keeping healthy through a mixture of weightlifting, calisthenics, rock climbing and martial arts, with BJJ and Muay Thai as my main favorites.*because you can’t see space when the suns out
