Serving the Veterans Administration’s ASPIRE Center. We provide 24/7 building engineering support to ensure the best environment for veterans and their treatment staff. I opened this new account for GSH Group, our first VA facility in San Diego. Leading a team of professional Building Engineers, we created a powerful positive relationship with the VA staff and the veterans. We came into a building that had no on-site maintenance and only a flat-blade screwdriver and a Channel-Lock pliers in the toolbox. In one year we built our tools, acquired an inventory of supplies, created maintenance procedures and schedules, and handled the repairs of catastrophic failures of heating, air conditioning, domestic hot water, elevators, and sewer lines. We focused on creating relationships with staff and veterans in treatment, and have become key members of the ASPIRE Center family, honored with an award at the annual staff retreat.
