Principal Scientist: 1/2026 - PresentSenior Scientist: 1/2020 - 12/2025Research Associate II - IV: 7/2011 - 12/2019• Support drug manufacturing pipeline by providing analytical characterization of antibody drug candidates and ligands.• Create and optimize high-throughput automation workflows for the preparation of released and fluorescently labeled N-linked glycans. Automated the LC/MS characterization of N-linked glycans with the Waters UNIFI software.• Design and develop novel methods for the identification of released N-linked glycans from antibody drug candidates, antigens, and other heavily glycosylated proteins by HILIC/FLR/MS. Methods created reduce time and complexity of standard protocol, saving company over a year in material costs alone.• Document findings and maintain records in electronic laboratory notebook (ex. IDBS) to ensure accurate and complete records consistent with company policy and regulatory requirements. Draft characterization reports to support regulatory document submissions (ex. IND, BLA) and generate data for peer-reviewed publications. Present project results to team, department head, and cross functional collaborators.• Streamlined department’s reference standard characterization program (intact mass, calculation of PTMs, disulfide-bond confirmation, and glycan profiling). New workflow minimized sample preparation time, increased LC/MS usage efficiency, and quickened and harmonized data reporting.• Filed patent application for the creation of a novel, uniform platform that enriches glycopeptides from tryptic digests of IgG[1-4] subtypes with analysis and quantitation of glycoforms using HILIC/UV/MS.• Under GMP, qualify assays for the characterization of antibody drug candidates by peptide mapping and released N-linked glycan profiling that comply with regulatory guidelines.• Train and manage Research Associates and summer interns.ri
