Support several research projects related to the dissection of neural circuits involved in behavioral affect. • Responsible for cloning of cDNA and pAAV constructs, AAV and CRISPR viral packaging, molecular biology, and biochemistry studies.• Supervise lab leads and lab personnel (research staff, post-doctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, MD-PhD clinicians, and visiting scientists). • Manage and coordinate with the Principal Investigator on laboratory activities including drug and formulation product research, experimental development and data analysis, and biochemical and biophysical as well as bioanalytical process analysis.• Write and maintain IACUC protocols and amendments. • Keep detailed records of procedures performed. • Provide status reports to the Principal Investigator on status of projects and spending, • Manage lab procurement and ordering transactions.• Manage lab paperwork and certifications
