During my Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Internship at Legal Specs, I had the opportunity to:Assist in due diligence processes, including reviewing corporate documents, contracts, and compliance records.Conduct legal research on corporate laws, regulations, and judicial precedents relevant to M&A transactions.Draft and vet legal documents such as term sheets, NDAs, and transaction agreements.Support senior associates in preparing reports, case briefs, and analytical notes for ongoing deals.Gain practical exposure to the corporate legal framework governing acquisitions, restructuring, and cross-border transactions.This internship helped me strengthen my understanding of corporate law while enhancing my research, drafting, and analytical skills in the dynamic field of M&A.
