About Azeem M.
I have a diverse background in capital markets finance, sales, and technology, specializing in mortgage lending projects, mortgage product management, process improvements, business analysis, data analysis, and company wide implementations in financial technology.My experience in sales has made me an excellent communicator and helped me build wonderful professional relationships. It has also given me valuable insights into the banking, financial services, and lending industries, in which I have been involved in for over a decade, from the client-facing side (origination) to operations, capital markets, and information technology to successfully creating from scratch and exiting (selling) my own mortgage company by the age of 26. Most recently, I co-founded Modern Financial, where I serve as CEO & President a capital advisory and commercial lending firm built on the belief that access to smart, strategic capital can transform businesses and communities. Following my earlier exit, I transitioned to becoming an active accredited investor, and have since exited multiple real estate, tech, hospitality, and event firms as an LP and advisor.I enjoy combining technology with my work, and as a lifelong learner, I strive to provide my companies’ clients and partners with a memorable experience.
