Manage a Planner-In-Training.• Project manager for 15% schematic design for a new terminal, overseeing 3 consultants and $1.5 million dollars to conduct space programming, conceptualize base floorplan layouts, identify utility demands, plot site elevations, design apron geometry, and conduct line of sight analysis to deliver a project definition document.• Directed a team of 5 internally to plan a $1.5-billion-dollar APM train system, designating alignment, grades, stations, and land use for 1,100 acres, moving passengers an hour to the consolidated rental car facility, parking facilities, and future commercial development to the terminal. • Designed floorplans for 14 new public safety facilities, identifying site locations, functional requirements, and circulation factors for police and fire stations, airport operation centers, emergency operations centers, public safety communication centers, a live fire training facility, gun range, K-9 facility, and a public safety consolidated facility.• Lead baggage handling system study to increase system occupancy from 32 Bags per minute to 50 bags per minute, reducing baggage delays for 4 million bags annually and passengers daily at IAD.• Devised IT solutions for shared ticket counters, check-in kiosks, passenger bag drops, bag room assignments, and designed multiple aircraft ramp systems (MARS gates) for the design manual, introducing common use capabilities at IAD.• Modelled terminal area forecast projections to verify 2025 FAA TAF, ensuring all eligible funding for DCA and IAD.

I was a kid who kept building cities with toys in my basement. I became an Urban Planner.I then built a city on Minecraft and created 2 airports to serve that city. I\'m now an Airport Planner.In building them, I reviewed ICAO recommended standards, AFS lighting systems, and read through countless FAA Circulars.My parents didn\'t see that coming when they told me video games aren\'t helpful for my future. Planning has been my hobby as a child and I\'m proud to call it my profession.I didn\'t need to find my passion. My 10-year-old self would have told me to become who I am today.My objective is simple: Be the best Planner there is by bringing straightforward solutions to complex problems. People overcomplicate problems. But really,\"How hard can it be?\"
