Azam Murji is a Criminal Defence Lawyer in Toronto. He is former part-time Assistant Crown Attorney for the Ministry of Attorney General for Ontario. He also acts as a Federal Crown Agent for Public Prosecutions Service of Canada.Azam is on the Roster for Mediators for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, Ontario Courts of Justice.Azam has volunteered with several organizations in various capacities. He was a Member for the Aga Khan Conciliation and Arbitration Board and Vice -Chair for the Aga Khan Social Welfare Board for Ontario. He has acted as Legal Advisor for the Aga Khan Council for Ontario and has also served on the Board of Directors at the West Scarborough Community Legal Services Clinic.Azam is a long standing member of the Criminal Lawyers Association and a former Instructor for the Bar Admissions Course - Criminal Section for the Law Society of Upper Canada.Azam is presently completing his LL.M. part-time with the Faculty of Graduate Studies at Osgoode Hall Law School.
