My work centers on modeling virtual societies using agent-based modeling, discrete event simulation, and AI algorithms like planning, goal-based reasoning, and procedural generation. My research has been used for practical applications across the entertainment, computational social science, military, and healthcare domains.Previously, I was a Ph.D. Research Intern at IBM Research, Almaden, where I developed a simulation to model and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in workplace environments using AI and agent-based techniques. I also interned at Disney Research, Pittsburgh, where I conducted research on Mixed Reality and Narrative Intelligence.
