ABOUT AZADEH GOLDUZIAN

With a Master\'s degree in Statistics from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor’s in the same field from the University of Tehran, I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Biology at the University of New Mexico. My doctoral work focuses on computational and statistical genetics, leveraging my expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data analytics to investigate genetic architecture and regulatory variation across populations. As a Research Assistant in Professor Davorka Gulisija’s lab, I contribute to cutting-edge projects involving large-scale human genomic datasets, including the All of Us Research Program. My work encompasses functional annotation, heritability estimation, and population structure analysis, supported by pipeline development for genotype processing and modeling. Additionally, I serve as a Biostatistician at the UNM Memory and Aging Clinic, focusing on neurodegenerative disease research and biomarker discovery, which aligns closely with my goal of advancing understanding in computational biology and human genetics.
