ABOUT AYUSHI GANDHI

With extensive experience in creating social impact programs for underserved communities in South Asia, and now in Canada, I am dedicated to build resilient communities and work towards collective well-being. My work is driven by an intersectional, evidence-based approach, informed by the social determinants of health, trauma-informed care, and anti-oppressive frameworks.My passion lies in promoting mental well-being and resilience among youth and communities. I develop participatory programs that bridge the gap between policy and practice, ensuring that the voices of those affected are heard and integrated into sustainable solutions.My non-traditional educational path, transitioning from Physics to Social Work with a specialization in Addictions and Mental Health, has equipped me with a unique perspective. This background allows me to seamlessly integrate quantitative and qualitative sciences, fostering strong relationships and partnerships with professionals and organizations across diverse fields and interests.I am committed to leveraging my skills and experience to create lasting, positive change in the realm of public health, mental health and social development.
